How do these compare with Harbor freight? I got the HF ones and they don't seem very sharp

It says it is for soft wood. Nice price, but good luck.

If you want to use on anything other than soft wood (aluminum sheet, sheet-rock, harder woods, even steel sheets) you want to spend a good amount more to get the bimetal hole saws.

Cheap brand frequently pushed on Slickdeals. YMMV.

i would be willing to bet it comes from the same exact factory. it looks exactly the same. same mold, same everything. i got my harbor freight one for considerably cheaper on sale.

ive had my HF one for about 5 years now? they work perfectly fine on all wood and plastic that ive thrown at it... i cant justify spending more.

Totally agree, looks exactly like the harbor freight set, even the plastic box. The bit on my HF set broke when I hit a nail as I was drilling into a wall frame (soft wood). The hole saws are holding pretty well after about 2 years of light use on soft woods, plywood, drywall, and not too thick red oak boards.

I've bought these in the past. Shallow and disposable, but they got the job done.
