I am going to give you the solution on how to obtain these from a walmart that is showing they have them in stock:

1. Go to the most clueless employee you can find.
2. Tell them there is an item in the back stock area that is not "floor displayed" so it is only in the locked cages in the back.
3. Tell them it is either in the electronics cages or in the furniture cages with the rest of the robot vacuum cleaners.
4. Be CRYSTAL CLEAR that it is not displayed on the sales floor with the rest of the roombas and is ONLY in the cages in the back.
5. The Vacuums are most likely boxed in a separate box of two (you can show them image 1), but can be individuals (like image 2).
6. When they go and look and come back and saying something like "I asked the people in the back and they dont know what you are talking about", say thank you and go and find someone else that is PHYSICALLY GOING TO INSPECT THE CAGES.

This is only if they are showing them in stock via BS or walmart.com. Also, the SKU for BS is not the same to find them in the walmart system. If you want a walmart emplyoee to search their system give them this number:566754773

There is a near certain chance you are going to need to find 2 or 3 employees to look in the back.

P.S. They can also be in the clearance isle, but that is a long shot.

I have found a lot of them this way. And per usual DONT CALL THE STORE. YOU NEED TO GO THERE!

As stated, find someone who has no clue what they are doing. It is going to be difficult to work with them, but it is your best chance of success.

They are just in a cage in the back, and someone just needs to go unlock the cage, get the item, and give it to you.

Worth mentioning this is made by Anker which has been making small electronics for some time now. Anker also tends to be very customer friendly. "We're not happy until you're happy" kind of thing.

OOS there. Went by store. Sales people in Electronics said people calling since Sunday and said to tell people to stop calling the store - they don't have any!!
See I want to know how these people calling since last Sunday are finding these deals long before they hit SD. This has been my experience with Walmart YMMV deals lately when I go looking. The associates say people were there days before looking for them. Lol

I could see that but unless they are searching hundreds of items all the time then I don't see how they find out that they dropped.

Pretty sure at this point, employees just say that because they learn about it on SD or brickseek and just hide it for themselves. Some of my best SDs were from walmart/brickseek but that was 2-3 years ago. I've been burned too many times so I just avoid stepping foot in that place altogether.

Brickseek has a Deals section that you can browse by store and department of store... Anyone can use it, but Brickseek hides the newest deals behind their subscription.

Just be aware that BS stock on this and the other roombas (680) are a bit off - over the last week have been to 3 different stores that supposedly have them in stock but no luck and I was told that they had long gotten rid of the roomba 680 stock but BS still has them listed as in stock.
They have them the employees hid them, usually In the layaway area. That's why some people give ymmv a thumb down. Once rookies start calling and telling the wrong employees... I usually stand near the back stock Area and try to get an old lady and show her a picture of the box. Once they get an employee with a zebra scanner it's all over. Oh and tipping young guys works well. I normally tell them I broke my GF and need this exact model. I tell them she is coming home soon and would give them a tip if they find it. Then when they find it I ask if there are more incase the they don't work out of the box.

Yeah same here went yesterday and had no spots for them. Not worth the time for Walmart bricksick for me. Only one time I called cause I was tired of going to Walmarts and I got a pair of binoculars like that.

If you are not an employee of Walmart, anything Walmart/Brickseek is a waste of time. They or their friends grab pretty much all the electronics and anything of value to resell. You might occasionally find the very large and heavy items that are to heavy to ship at a reasonable price for them, but 99% of the time you are going to wind up with nothing.
