The Lenovo Legion Y7000 is not a competitor to the XPS 15. It has better performance but its dimensions:
14.17 x 10.51 x 0.94 inches and 5.2 lb

The XPS 15 is:: 14.06" x 9.27" x .45-.66" and 4 lb

Different machines for different users.

Pretty slick! Fortunately the RAM and memory are upgradeable on this. Also this is the latest XPS model.

Only downside I'd say is the display only being 1080p however this will have longer battery life than it's higher resolution counterparts, plus with the GeForce 1050ti you can easily run multiple QHD/4k resolution monitors.

Great price!

Heaviest laptop....?

This is about best in class for size x weight x performance x cost

It's the lightest laptop I've ever owned, and it rocks as an all purpose ultrabook

nice deal just wish the ram was 1x8GB stick vs 2x4GB to make upgrading cheaper.

The XPS laptops are aimed at business types mainly that travel.

There's not many other ultra slim laptops at this price point that can compete.

8gb more RAM
1TB added Storage Drive.
1060 vs 1050ti
Quite a bit more for even a little less memory.......

Definitely a better deal for the Legion IMHO

I know the XPS model is a "premium" model, but price per spec, the costco one is a better deal.
