Camera weight capacity of 1.4 lbs is laughable. Only get this if you plan to use it with a smartphone. I would not trust it with a DSLR.

FYI: I believe the posted weight load capacity of 1.4 lbs is wrong and a typo. Here's a vid that shows the actual box and user directions stating the max load capacity is 6.6 Lbs

Recent reviewers claim to have bought this for $6-$10. Mostly positive reviews though.

Wow - a really cheap $10 tripod. It'll be good for phones, compact cameras, and maybe - just maybe - a small mirrorless camera with a small lens attached.

It's good for inside. Not for outside or windy conditions. For 10$ it's good

This will work just well enough to frustrate you. Especially if your camera is any heavier than an IPhone or if there's any wind.

Well, what's a "slick deal" on one of quality (can handle an 80D/5D/6D/7D+lens) for the same/similar height?

For the love of God dont waste your money on this. These types (style) of cheap tripods are very (VERY) unstable, not worth even the very low price.
