Come on. I just got this laptop last week for $1099. Should I return it and order it again. Will that work? Any suggestions?
From Amazon? If so talk try their customer service. They should credit you the difference.

Pros: 144hz. 92% sRGB and 62%AdobeRGB. OC 1060

Cons: No thunderbolt 3. Minor concessions elsewhere.

They really put their money into the gaming experience. Really good buy for gamers. Better than that last Lenovo deal at Costco.
Any detailed insights about this laptop vs Lenovo y7000 at Costco?

This one has 144hz screen while Lenovo has an extra 1TB storage drive and Costco warranty. If my primary use is to run multi-thread CPU intensive jobs for 24/7, which laptop is a better bet in terms of thermal management and reliability?

Also, I know Lenovo/thinkpad has one of the best keyboards (in terms of travel distance). Not sure about Acer. One reason I give up on Dell G7 is the shallow travel keyboard ...

This one has revamped thermals from last year's... The main draw is the metal fin fans. Unheard of on a laptop and supposedly very helpful in exhausting heat.

No comment on the keyboard...

It's common for gaming laptops to have ~4 hr battery life

No comment on the keyboard...
I think they both have revised thermals from their last gen ... so both are supposed to be good in thermal. However the Lenovo Y7000/Y530 actually gets lighter/thinner than last gen Y520 which I do not like (for thermal purpose), while this new Acer Helios 300 has one bad review on Amazon right now solely complaining about thermal ...

Not sure which one is the right shot. If i'm gaming heavily i'll take the Acer just for the 144hz screen. But i'm not ...
