I'm typing on this keyboard right now. Sure, it doesn't have that, and I do miss it when I'm on the computer with the lights out. However, the battery life is insane and unprecedented. That more than makes up for the lack of illumination. I like the wireless Corsair, but this battery life keeps me here. Wouldn't trade it.
There was really just no reason to at least give the option. They have done it before. I couldn't care less if it were rgb or not. Plain white would have been fine. I quite enjoy my g903, this would have went lovely with it. Alas, they didn't include it for whatever asanine reason.

good if you need a wireless keyboard for portability or obsessed with having an ultra minimalist/clean workspace and will actually make use the macros. otherwise for desktop computer/stationary keyboard wired is the way to go. so many more options. and nice backlighting

Sigh.... Nobody even posted the most important info about this KB, WHAT Romer-G SWITCH does it use???? Linear, Tactile, or GX Blue???? Romer-G Linear switches are garbage and feel super mushy even worse than some membrane keyboards. The Tactile switches are OK though and feel like a real mechanical KB. Romer-G Linear switches are junk.

What? Lol Buy the Razer Rgb equivalent.. The ETrobot. Best keyboard I've ever owned and it replaced a Razer mechanical. I even passed on the Corsair and Hyper X.

I'm waiting for the G710 Plus to go on sale. I like Cherry MX Brown switches. How does this compare?

I'm currently on a Das keyboard 4 ultimate and I've been waiting so long for a great wireless mechanical keyboard. Though I feel that the G613 is decent, I don't think it's good enough to replace the Das for me.

Non laser etched key inscriptions and the non cherry switches are a deal breaker for me. Still quite tempting at this price though.

In the amount of time it took you to type this snarky comment, you could have gone to Logitechs site and saw that they use Romer-G Tactile. But hey who am I to judge?

I picked this up yesterday at Best Buy for this price. I absolutely love it. It's my first mechanical keyboard. Honestly, the best part about it is the ease of switching between devices. I have it connected through bluetooth on my MacBook (only USB-C ports) and 2.4 wireless on my HP through the dongle. The switch is instant through a push of a button.

Been waiting on a deal for this. Gaming computer is hooked up to my TV, and I don't really have room for a desk. I'm tired of having the keyboard wire across my living room. My dog and partner keep tripping on it.

That non removable wrist rest is a deal breaker. Way to big for my desk. (That's what she said)

Purchased this exactly 11 months ago. Battery still going.

Love the look and feel.
It's also not annoyingly clicky like most mechanical keyboards.
You do hear a springy ting when you fly across the keyboard but you have to be listening for it.

Main issue: because of the battery savings I find that the keyboard goes into standby just short enough to make me have to press a button (any) to wake it up (instantly). Only problematic when you're doing some kind of multi key command like CTRL + C with long breaks in between (5 mins-ish).

Other than that, it's fantastic. Someone else used it once and immediately commented on how nice the keys felt. They're not tech savvy at all, so that made me feel good about the purchase (got this for similar price from BB).
Firmware update fixes this for me.

I think the wire on this keyboard may be a hindrance for those that are looking for a wireLESS keyboard.

Just saying that I'm using a K800, and still going 6 years strong and it's just sad that it took Logitech this long to make a Wireless Mech keyboard that many and I have anticipated. Yet fall short.
Hey, completely off topic but I wanted to ask you about your K800. I purchased a K800 from Amazon in late September. Before that I've had a K350 keyboard and M510 for years with no incident. I wanted the K800 mainly because of the backlight. Within ten days of owning the K800 the computer would feel like it's slowing down. After troubleshooting I realized that the Desktop Windows Manager process started using a lot of GPU. Luckily, the keyboard has the on-off switch on the front which makes it convenient to turn off the keyboard, which immediately lowered the GPU usage. After complaining to Logitech they sent me a replacement keyboard. Again, after ten days this one started having it's own problems. This time, the Caps Lock key would go on and off. repeatedly when it wanted. I've been able to stop this by going into Logitech Option software and disabling the Caps Lock key (not sure why they have that option but it works).

I've used Logitech wireless devices for almost two decades now and this is the first time where I've had these sorts of issues. Any idea what the problem could be?
