Extremely vague question, but, recommended budget AVR? Just ordered a pair of T50s and wanting to get into the home theater scene. Mainly used for Spotify and Netflix. Preferably under $175 but willing to go higher if deal is worth it. Thanks!

Go used then, lots of decent Denons can be found in that price range.

Polk S10? The S10, hands down, but it's not a fair comparison since the S10 are much more expensive.

I don't have these, but they usually get rated reasonably for budget speakers. The two other budget-range 4" speakers that are often said to be steps up from these (and that I do have pairs of both) are the Micca MB42x and the Pioneer SP-BS22-LR. You can sometimes get Micca MB42 (non x, so there's that) on sale from Amazon Warehouse deals for ~$30 for "like new", but it only shows up infrequently, and again that's missing the upgraded crossover. The Pioneers rarely drop below $65/pair, but they DO periodically go on sale for about $70/pair (there's one deal right now at Frys [in-store] on the frontpage).

So for $34, this seems like a no brainer if you're looking for some decent small bookshelf budget speakers (with all of the related caveats) that are of at least reasonable quality while being about as cheap as you're going to get, and not interested in spending ~$60+ for what might be relatively small steps upward in sound (especially if paired with a subwoofer: otherwise you may want to take the time to read reviews between this set and the two sets I've mentioned at least, as there are differences in how they handle bass).

Looking to replace my towers and rears but within a tight budget, have a polk TSx 150 center channel with budget fronts and surrounds. Was thinking just get the T50's and T15's but maybe it's better to wait for the Andrew Jones series to go on sale for BF?

I'd like to set myself up for Atmos too so was thinking of maybe waiting for another sale on the OWM3 On-Wall speakers and use those for both surrounds and ceiling speakers. If I do that, what do I do for my fronts?

I think I'd be happy with either the T50's or the AJ equivalent but those have been on sale for $68 a piece in the past so I'd rather wait, but if there is a much better option for not much more I'd love to hear it.

I have these as surround and high speakers and they sound awesome. I paid $100 for them and still thought it was a good deal. Grab these while you can. I use two of them as my high Atmos speakers by mounting them high and pointing them towed the center. Not the best way of doing it I know. But a ton cheaper than buying Atmos speakers.

Shouldn't atmos speakers project directly overhead?

Yeah but it's not what they are intended for. You should have them directly overhead. But I also don't want to install in ceiling speaker or buy angled speakers. You can have the sound reflect by pointing these at the ceiling at the right angle. But again this is how I'm doing it to save money. Not the best way for sure.
