I've been watching memory daily to finish out a shopping list for a Ryzen build.

This evening, I noticed the Grey version dropped in price to $119. For CAS 15, non-RGB memory, this is one of the best prices I've seen in 5-7 days.

Sharing, so someone else can benefit.

Would this be good in a Ryzen system or is it only good for like an i5-8600/9600k system? Thanks!

I can see $100 on BF deals, but it would be great if DDR 4 got lower again.

I'm making 2 little gaming computers for my daughters and the motherboard I'll be using for each computer has 2 ram slots.

Can I purchase this deal...and use 8gb for one computer and the other 8gb for the other computer.

My thinking is that should/will be enough for them to game now...and when ram prices lower I could always combine the ram into one of their computers (since they are a matched set) and buy another 16gb of ram later.

Just want some reassurance from others much smarter then me on this that my idea is "ok".

Ty all!

Intel won't take a significant performance hit with single channel mode, AMD would suffer and should use dual channel. This is especially true if using AMD 2200G or 2400G without discreet graphics.

Thanks! I already have a pair of these (well, in blue), and they work great. I've been wanting to add another 16GB with prices finally dropping, and it seems best to go with the same model for the best compatibility.

Newegg is going to have the red ones on sale on Black Friday, but why wait until then, if Amazon has it now, and I have Prime. And who knows how long they'll stay in stock at either.
