I have a sickness. I don't do woodwork, have never needed a counter sink and I almost bought this set because it's on Slickdeals. Arghh..

Just want to say, the Irwin set is a totally different thing. While the snappy brand goes up to less than 1/2" diameter countersink for a #12 screw, this one has 3 sizes above (1/2", 5/8", 3/4") that for much larger screws.

Snappy Brand Quick-Change 5-Pc is what I got before.. I was originally gonna say I wish I would have got this Irwin set instead, but no - Snappy Brand has drill + countersink all in one with the ability to totally remove the drill bit too.. so for me, mostly going into thin metal sheets, woods, and plastics - Snappy was the right choice for sure.

If you're a DIY'er like myself.. you might wanna look at Snappy Brand. Still not a bad price though, especially with the case!

Edit: Snappy Brand now provides a case too, just a few cents more

I'd usually say just buy as you need, since most people, especially wood workers, will exclusively use 1/4"... But this has a nice case

Please note that the Irwin are meant for metal, whereas the Snappy are not.

To each his own, but 99% of the time these are take-along to job sites that you'll throw in your work bag half the time. $3 extra for the hard case is totally worth it (in fact, it's like a $7 savings, which makes the deal slick) for almost everyone that needs them.
