Fury: In 1945 as the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

Zero Dark Thirty: For a decade, an elite team of intelligence and military operatives, working in secret across the globe, devoted themselves to a single goal: to find and eliminate Osama bin Laden. This is the story of history's greatest manhunt for the world's most dangerous man.

Nice. Both are Movies Anywhere eligible, meaning if you've connected your Microsoft account to Movies Anywhere, you can watch these movies on any other of your platforms connected to Movies Anywhere (eg Apple, Amazon, Vudu).

FURY kinda reminds me of the Tank story from Battlefield 1.

As others have said, Fury is a fun, if somewhat cheesy WWII romp. Not insultingly cheesy like U-571, but also not brilliantly cheesy like Inglorious Basterds.

Zero Dark Thirty is a very, very good movie. The Bin Laden raid at the end is thrilling, but I remember realizing that in some ways that was the least interesting part of the movie for me. It's just so well done.

Plus, it has Jessica Chastain. The entire movie could be two hours of just her reading from a dictionary and I'd be rapt.

Zero Dark Thirty is only enjoyable as long as you do not know the true story and how they turned 20-30 people into one super character who basically found him all by herself.

https://psmag.com/social-justice/...s-in-51659

Hollywood does this all the time and while it's somewhat understandable that some liberties have to be taken when you condense ten years into a two hour movie, this was presented as historical and not fiction. They could, at the very least, had presented some back story to this effect at the end of the movie that this "super agent" was really made up from 20-30 people.

So enjoy the movie but take the time to look up the real background story.

Brad Pitt is really checking Jessica Chastain out on this cover.
