  • A couple of other stores have this set for the same price, but the additional $10 Target eGift Card makes this deal nice.
  • Target REDcard entitles you to 5% off most items, free shipping for online orders, and an extended return period.

LEGO City Town Cargo Terminal 60169 Building Kit (740 Piece), $50.99 at Target [target.com], Amazon [amazon.com] and Walmart [walmart.com].

Per ccc, the lowest price on Amazon was $49 a few months ago, and it is reflected in front page back in July and again in August.

Target lowered its price this morning to match its competitors, but with Target you are also getting a $10 gift card. Because I use the gift card on the next purchase it is as good as cash, my net for the set is $41+tax.

Great deal, and definitely the lowest this has ever gone when you include the gift card.

With the Target Red Card and $10 Gift Card this came out to $43.47 after tax for me. Significantly lower than the $54.52 (after tax) for the same item at Amazon.

Here's a comprehensive video review of the set from JANGBRiCKS. Good variety of pieces with lots of playability even for folks that don't have one of Lego's train sets.

This would make a great gift in the sub-$50 range.

The base price for this set seems fairly high to me. Good price on sale and red card though.

Thanks for linking this review. I'm not planning to buy the set (it's holiday season, so my winter village needs attention) but I watch the whole thing, very informative and entertaining.

I check his reviews for every Lego set I buy. Extremely thorough, shows all angles of all pieces of the sets, and reviews them for playability, value, and usually compares to other similar sets. His reviews of the bigger sets like trains and things are especially good. Smilie

Just bought one this morning from Target. It's still $48.99 plus tax.
