Is this good at 1080p? Seems like some of the reviewers say that clarity is not good and that a 1080p monitor should be maximum 27 inches.

Heads up, better options will be available on BF.

Walmart will have a Samsung 32" curved for $168 and Staples will have a Dell 32" flat panel for $130. As you should expect, both are 1080p.

I haven't done a spec for spec comparison. I said that based on the Samsung being $12 less and Samsung monitors generally being of better quality than Acer. Here is the product page for reference. [walmart.com]

As far as inputs go, I'm seeing 1x HDMI, 1x DP on the Samsung and 1x HDMI, 1x VGA on the Acer.

I use 32" 1080p Samsung screens as computer monitors and they don't seem unclear to me. Some people are excessively snobby about such things though and may just have vastly better vision than me.

Yeah I picked up one of these to use for work. Interested to see how it is but I imagine 1080p is fine for that. Would like to have a 34/35 inch but the price increase is substantial.
