Sears Automotive - Spend $100, get $100 SYWR points in 5 weekly installments of $20/ea. Each payment valid for 7 days.

https://www.sears.com/automotive/...tLink_Auto

"Members get $100 CASHBACK in points in 5 Weekly installments when you spend $100 or more on qualifying Auto purchases at select Sears stores and Sears.com. First $20 in points issued next day after transaction and valid for 7 days. Subsequent 4 payments of $20 in points issued starting on 11/25/2018 and ending on 12/16/2018 and subsequent points are valid for 7 days. Offer Valid 11/04/2018 through 11/17/2018. Max $100 in points per member. Exclusions apply."

I was looking at purchasing this portable battery jump starter and although it doesn't show the notice in red on the main item page that normally shows if it's part of this deal it does give back $100 in SYWR points and shows it in the details on the actual item page. Other items are probably doing that also.

It's ridiculous that we can't post Sears/Kmart deals that are decent without getting thumbs down just b/c some people don't like the companies anymore. If you don't like the companies then quit reading the posts!

Note that I no longer have Kmart or Sears (other than Hometown) within 120 miles of me but I still participate in many of these deals. The 7 day expiration isn't an issue for me. Many of the auto items are available for shipping.

OP - I appreciate the post. Fine with me that people don't want Sears anymore - leaves more for us Smilie That charger seems a good deal.

Remember these point installments you have to spend within 7 days and only over 12 weeks, which can get hard. So you have to figure out how many of those you'd actually use, but the time wasted searching for something to buy that you don't need.

What are you talking about over 12 months? These are weekly payments and end on 12/16/18, not monthly for 12 months.

I didn't TD the post, but any deal factoring in Sears CB over an extended period of time is very sketchy. If Sears has a product that is priced competitively, fine, but trying to include SYWP into your value proposition? Highly questionable.

Fixed my post - you're right. Weekly seems easier to me than monthly and gets the deal paid quicker.

Didn't they file for bankruptcy? Promos like these are only to keep cashflow going $100 at a time until they all close down, right?

After all, how many people still have Sears nearby as they close down one by one and supplier don't want to provide merchandise for them to sell.

Enjoy these for now. Spend it as quick as you can, especially any GCs you may still have left. And forget about warranties for any brand they own, when they do go bankrupt.

Do tools count as "qualifying purchase"? I was looking to get an impact wrench. With the SYW points, maybe tools for the impact wrench.

Next bankruptcy hearing on the 15th... if the banks take over say goodbye to all your upcoming points as SYWR will be gone.
