I used the lifetime warranty a couple of months back and I did not have to pay for shipping on the new pair of socks. I did have to pay shipping to send my old damaged socks to them. The code that they provided me for the free pair of socks also gave me free shipping. In the end, I only paid a few bucks to mail the damaged pair of socks back to them.

I was a little skeptical that the warranty would work because the damaged pair of socks were 2 small puncture holes in the heel of one sock. I must have had sneakers that caused the puncture, but it wasn't significant damage like giant holes in the toes or on the bottom of the sock, but they did honor the warranty without any hassle.

Ultimately, I feel the lifetime warranty and the fact that these are very good socks made in the USA makes it well worth the higher price up front.

Not sure I follow the logic. Because an item is pricey, it shouldn't be in the Hot Deals section? Yes, these socks are more expensive than others, but I have pairs that are 4-5 years old and still going strong. Also not sure what you want me to post the price of... there are dozens of different Darn Tough socks and they're all on sale.

With that logic, iPhone should never be in hot deals section.

Big fan of Darn Tough merino wool socks! Very comfortable and they last a long time. I know some folks are happy with cheap socks, but do yourself a favor and try out a pair. GoBros has done well for me with prior orders.

I have a few pairs of these and they work great. Has anyone used the Merino socks from Costco? I believe they may have been like 4 or 5 pairs for $20.

25% off Darn Tough socks as a Black Friday deal at GoBros.com that's already in effect. These socks are a little pricey, but will outlast any other pair of socks you own. They're awesome. They also come with a "Lifetime Guarantee". No coupon needed. Discount is already reflected in prices.

Shipping is free.

How much do replacements cost if they rip?

Most of my socks get rips from the washer, dryer, or me snagging it on a nail. So, trying to figure out if t's worth buying expensive socks or keeping with what I have (~$15-30 a year in sock costs).

Of course, the sock # increases and not all socks in those range are tosses. But, you get worn socks (bottom foot) as well as true holes. Then there are the mysterious losses.

They have lifetime warranties, no questions asked. I.e. replacements are free for life.

Thanks for the post, Once I switched to these, I have not looked back. No more are the days are holey white socks. I joined Darn Tough after getting fed up with several pairs of my Golden Toe socks going to crap. The only disappointment I have is that the styles are limited for my big feet (I need the XXL (15-17)) but I'm happy that they are durable.

Couldn't find any useful info about the warranty, so I did a mock claim to see how it works.

So you get a RMA, ship it on your dime whatever shipping method you prefer. They inspect it to make sure it's basically not damage from fire, dyeing, or alterations.

Then they send you a "gift code", which you use on their website to get another pair. It's safe to assume that you still have to pay shipping, which the lowest option I checked that was available was $6 USPS.
