Too early. If the deal is not here, no one cares. And likely it's going to be contract aka 24 month bill credit BS
Got it, was sharing in case anyone was interested so they dont renew their plan until then. Smilie

Thanks for this, my plan is expiring very soon and of course my cost will rise (plus they're no longer offering the channel package I have any more, so I can't even resubscribe with my wife's name). Hopefully this will work out for us.

Will they be rolling back prices for existing plans? Sounds too good to be true.

Will they start throttling my internet if there's a fire in my area?

so funny, but if there was a fire in your area your fiber if run overhead will likely be melted.

Actually, I assume that post from vsauce was referencing this story [arstechnica.com] (and unfortunately it's all too real in these post-net-neutrality days).

Well, so far it's still easy to 'move' - unless you have a landline which would make things harder.. At least for me, I doubt they'll come down from $35 a month for 100/100...

I was in the same circumstances last month. I let my agreement lapse last month because it was cheaper than signing a new agreement because my entire package is no longer offered TV or Internet. Letting it lapse only led to a $15 increase whereas a new contract would be $50 more a month. Depending on how this offer turns out, I may switch to Comcast after a decade of FiOS -- wife refuses to cord cut.
