Posting from my phone so hopefully this works well

Samsung 860 EVO 1 TB Internal SSD - 2.5" - MZ-76E1T0B - SATA 6Gb/s for 149.99 - 20.00 = 129.99 + tax using promo code HOLIDAY18 via google express via bestbuy. It seems like 129.99 on Black Friday but if you want to get in early and not fight through the hassle this may work for you.

Samsung is selling the M.2 version of this drive for the same price on 11/18

Newegg started charging tax for me as well. The deal will be the same at BB + tax and Samsung.com on BF, and Samsung.com also wants to charge me tax. Looks like tax is getting more difficult to avoid.

In light of that, I opted not to wait and went with BB through Google Express now, $129.99 with code HOLIDAYSAVE3X to get $20 off (works both for first time and repeat buyers - I'm a repeat buyer and can confirm). Drive will be here tomorrow, a week before BF... thanks OP!

Maybe Newegg will have the drive at that price. I don't think it has been confirmed yet. Not sure if you are one of the lucky states that Newegg does not charge tax.

Does Bestbuy have any restocking fee on SSD returns?

My laptop says it supports upto 512gb, so I just wanted to test if by luck this 1TB would work. If it doesn't, then I will return it.

Some motherboards have this slot. Others don't.

Either way, this one can work with ANY desktop motherboard because all you need is SATA cables.

I opted to purchase these now, since I can get free delivery by tomorrow.
