iRobot Roomba i7 FREE $24.99 3-filter pack for registered owners

0 Deal Score
If you haven't registered your i7 Roomba yet, do it immediately. iRobot is sending out apology emails with a code for a free $24.99 filter kit (3 filters) with 1 day shipping.

The i7 was shipped half-baked and didn't do a lot of the advertised features until mid October with a software update (it's still dumber than advertised, IMO), and this free filter pack is an apology freebie from iRobot. You MUST have your i7 registered to get this.

Here's the full email from iRobot:

"We understand some of our customers were experiencing difficulty accessing some of the connected features of the new iRobot® i7/i7+ Roomba® Robot Vacuum. Please know that we have resolved this issue via a software update in mid-October as communicated. We hope you are now enjoying all of the features and functions of your new robot. Please alert us immediately by contacting Customer Care at 1-877-855-8593 if you are experiencing any issues.
We would like to thank you for patience and for being a part of the iRobot family. As a gesture of appreciation, please accept this gift of a FREE 3-pack of filters for your new i7/i7+ Roomba Robot Vacuum. (Regular retail price $24.99 plus tax and shipping.)
Please use the unique one-time use code below to redeem your free gift."

Same here. OP, did you complain separately or something? And what features were missing?
