I bet they're making these bundles because of the whole buy two return the one you don't want loophole.

Good price, I wouldn't mind picking up the brushless reciprocating saw to replace my old one that isn't holding onto blades well.

Wouldn't you be able to apply said loophole to this deal too?

edit- Nevermind, the above link does not work, had to search for it on Home Depot's site. The tool is already included in the "bundle," so no way to return partial.

What do people think of the 6 ah battery plus the two x 4ah batteries for $119.

It doesn't look like it. You're not buying two individual SKUs, you're buying one SKU so I'm not sure how you'd return half of the product?

Make sure you investigate the bundle value before buying. For example, I was looking at the belt sander and found that for $30 more there is a Brushless Hammer Drill/Driver combo:

That doesn't have the 6.0ah battery which is what this particular deal is about.

It's been posted here several times already. It's pretty much the best value if you need multiple batteries and a charger. For me, I wanted to get some of the "free" tools they were offering with the bundles. They're all bare tools and since I planned on returning the kit and only keeping the "free" tools, I needed a charger and some batteries. I ran the numbers multiple ways and this was about the lowest. I think I could have saved a few bucks if I had bought more bundles and returned the primary tools, but it wasn't much and not worse that hassle.

I bought this at the end of October (same price). I think it's a great deal if you want more batteries. A spare charger doesn't hurt either.

If you were interested in the tool in the first place, this is a great deal. I already have enough 4ah batteries and wanted the 3 gallon wet/dry vac for small projects and cleaning the truck, so this combo made the most sense. Do this with the $259 deal (you can pick specific tools in-store and not be limited to what the website shows) and you can have a very complete set, or split it out the drill/driver and small batteries as gifts.

What kind of run time do you get out of the vac? Could you do a couple vehicles?

Exactly why I said you should investigate the bundle value for yourself before buying. I never need a 6ah battery, so if I were buying I'd get the Hammer Drill & Sander.

4ah is already a bit heavy, considering the Ryobi line as a lesser brand of tools, so already on the bulkier side (Dewalt/Makita side by side comparisons). I'd only be interested in the 6ah for use in lawn equipment, or more stationary pieces (miter saw, radio, etc).

If you're looking to do any real work with that belt sander you need a 6ah and then some. The 9ah lasts me about 25 minutes... And if all you've got are the old lithium+ 4ahs you won't be able to use the belt sander to it's full potential
