"Too many ads" is almost as bad as leaving a review that starts with "I wish I could give negative stars!" It's not an original idea, nor one that really makes sense. Sorry, I worked in publishing and this one annoys me because I've heard it a gajillion times. Ads subsidize the cost of the magazine. It costs a lot more than 50c an issue to assemble articles, pay staff, print a magazine and mail it to you. They aren't running a charity, but even if they were, you wouldn't be getting this for 50c an issue.

There's is plenty to read in Readers Digest. It's definitely worth 50c an issue. They could add another 30 pages of ads and it would still be worth that price. Now, blow-in cards are annoying, but again, that's the same with virtually every magazine. I just tear them out immediately.

"Want this deal when it's time to renew? Lock in today's discount and we'll charge your card at the same price, if available, at each renewal term. Opt-out at anytime.

Yes, DiscountLock my renewal at $4.89 (saving me $24.99, wahoo!)"

Thanks, ordered and unchecked. Paid using Paypal and in Paypal they still authorized for Automatic payment. I also removed the authorized automatic future payments just to be safe.

Will the digital go to my email address and the print copy go to the gift address? He can't use the digital copies.
