Me too. Not sure if it will get any better though. This model was never sold below this price on amazon.

Last July I bought a refurb one from
Benq Direct for $509 - $10 eee bates site. Then the next day I could have gotten one from their eBay outlet with a 15% off eBay coupon for $450. My first projector; and it's awesome!

I'm looking to either score a lower price than this or a refurbished from BenQ. Almost $700 incl tax is too much for a 1080p projector in end-2018.

Benqdirect.com has it for the same price and others are on sale too. HT2550 is a good deal

Kind of not Apple to Apple. HD29 is not with RGBRGB color wheel so the colors are not good/accurate as HT2050A

Pulled the trigger on this. Was looking for one for gaming and this was one of the couple with low lag.

How long do these last? I believe with Epson projectors you can change light bulbs for pretty cheap. Can you change light bulbs on these?

I just bought a refurb off ebay for the $509 during the 10% ebay bucks. I really wanted a 15 or 20% off sale, but over the 3 months I've been watching, its never been in stock during a sale.

To anyone that has one of these. If you haven't tried 3d movies with a projector, you really should give it a try.
