Hi Dragon

Remember that Costco kits often have added components and with their return policy you're typically getting some significantly better values from Costco security camera deals.

Price is comparable to the earlier Amazon 4pk deal a couple weeks ago for $579.99. Extra cameras were $126.42 (price went back up).

If you jumped on that one, this is only $6 better for 5 cameras if you don't need the extras. If you didn't, this is a good price for Arlo Pro 2 cameras, and you get 3 black skins, a couple outdoor mounts and a battery charging station ($52~ value).

Thinking of pulling the trigger on this. Tax would be another 40-45 dollars. Not sure if there would be a better deal come BF.

I assume the 100 off is also in store? Might swing by tonight.

Ackkkgh. Can no longer keep track of these Arlo deals.

I bought this 5-camera set from Costco a few months ago for $749 on sale. ($149 per camera).

Returned it when the 4-camera set at BB went on sale for $579 about 2 weeks ago ($144.75 per camera).

Returned that just recently when the 6-camera set went on sale for $879 at Amazon/BB ($146 per camera).

The 6-cam set is slightly more expensive per camera than the 4-camera BB set, and noticeably more expensive per camera than the OP's deal (which is about $140/camera before tax). But for me it's the best fit---I've been wanting to expand our current Arlo HD (version 1) 4-camera setup to 6 cameras without adding a second base station, and the 6-pack kit lets you do that. All the other Arlo kits (the ones with 5 or fewer cameras) limit you to 5 cameras max.

nothing beats costco's return policy though...which is what allowed you to return the initial kit months after purchase lol

No it was $649 in store before when they had a slight mistake in the price.

So if i want all 5 cams outside I'll need to buy 3 more outdoor mounts and 4 charging cables to keep them running nonstop? also, how long will the battery last of recording nonstop? I'm trying to mount them on the 2nd floor or roof and would hate to have to climb up to replace the battery

Hi Ab21,

As I understand it, the continuous recording feature is only available if the Arlo Pro 2 is wired to power.

Also, 2nd floor or by the roof of the 2nd floor is too high...
