HI All

I was at work the other day and downloaded a free movie ap called 123movies. Now im constantly getting messages from a site called gostreams.net. The messagages are from dating sites and a gambling program. The popup say chrome. gosteams.net. I went into my apps to see if it could be deleted there, but it doesnt show up. Its not a text message nor an email either. I downloaded Avast mobile security but it didnt do anything.

Anyone have any ideas how i can either delete or at least block these messages?

thanks

zMad

Its probably notifications from the site. In your web browser of choice (firefox or chrome or both) in the settings somewhere should be a notification setting. You can block sites, or delete approved sites if it's been approved, so they can't send you notifications. It's probably not a virus, just a notification. You can tell easily by this. Does it only show if you have a browser open? If so, then its a notification. Viruses or adware/spyware will pop up all the time on your desktop.

Most recent reason why everyone should be armed at all times:
Charlotte, NC school shooting. 2 killed 4 wounded. April 2019
This was a gun free zone. The shooter didn't care. Gun free zones only hurt honest citizens. If someone was armed there could've been 1 less death.

Windows 8/Windows 8.1:
Open the Menu.
Select Search.
After that choose Apps.
Next Control Panel.
Then as in Windows 7, click Uninstall a Program under Programs.
Find 123Movies, select it and choose Uninstall.
Windows 10:
Click on the Start button (or press the Windows key) to open the Start menu, then select Settings at the top.
Choose App & features on the left menu.
On the right side, find 123Movies and select it, then click on the Uninstall button.
Click on Uninstall to confirm.
