This got a score of +57 the last time it was posted at $27. It's now a few dollars cheaper. I got three.

Enjoy

Make sure your desk is large enough to use this keyboard.

That got a good hearty chuckle from me. That said, I do have a large-enough desk, and I ADORE this keyboard. I wish they had a bluetooth version of this, but until then, I'll keep stocking up on these to replace the ones that might break. As of now, I'm on the same one for 8+ years, and the only issue is that the letters are rubbing off of the high-use keys, and even the ridge of the J key is almost gone. After 8+ years, I'm happy with the $35 I spent.

love these.. got a 2nd as a backup..

did notice today that the 'piece' on the bottom that holds the keyboard up isnt snapping in anymore but instead loose.. may have to crazy glue it... or put a screw through it into the bottom of keyboard to hold it into place.

Question: am looking for a key board, for middle/high school kid.. for mostly regular use, but sometimes may be (new/beginner) gaming .. is this a reasonable keyboard?
FYI: I am skeptical to have anything appear 'as for gaming', to not distract the teen/school mind while in school work. Well, as newbie-dad of a growing teen, am still learning, so kind of mixed up on few things.

Hands-down my favorite keyboard. Just be very, very careful if you like to keep drinks at your desk. This is extremely sensitive to spills.

I agree...I've been programming on this for many years and wouldn't use anything else (I've tried). I have 2 in the box now and will buy another. I'm only on my second one (alt key kept sticking on my first after a few years) but I use this at work and at home so I'll gladly add another to my backup stock! Great keyboard, comfy layout for my hands, does have a large footprint but I have the space. The only complaint is the space bar took a little more pressure to hit on the far sides than in the middle so sometimes I would miss a space during fast typing/coding, but maybe it just needed breaking in as I don't notice that happening anymore.

love this keyboard. typing on anything else makes my wrists hurt. only have had 1 fail on me after 4-5 years of daily use, immediately bought a new one. just wish there was an affordable wireless version of this.

I bought this exact keyboard in July of 2014 from Newegg for $19.99 incl free shipping. But I think this is an excellent price.

The point of my post is to say that I work in IT, so I'm on this keyboard 8 hours a day, every day, and it still works perfectly 4+ years later.

The only negative I can think of is the printing on the keys. It started wearing off after about 2 years of use. "s" "d" "k" "l" are totally worn off at this point. "F" is about half worn. I'm been typing long enough, I don't look down at the keys anymore, so it's of no consequence to me. The rarely used keys still look new, so no problem finding a ~ and stuff like that.

Big thumbs up from me.

Amen, brother..Amen.... Applause

Also use them exclusively at home, and *also* wish I could have a bluetooth one for work.... Wink

In for a couple...
