Best deal on the four pack that I've seen to date...$399 has been the cheapest. Repped. Thanks!

How does this compare to the Netgear Orbi that's on sale right now at Costco too?

The 3-pack at Walmart has one of these larger tri-band nodes (better) and 2 of the smaller dual-band nodes (less good). I personally don't think the Walmart deal is worth it. The Costco bundle is a steal!

Tried the Orbi for a couple weeks...returned and bought the Velop Tri-Band. The Orbi doesn't support a soft hand off from one satellite to another while the Velop does much like an enterprise access point. Velop for the win in our household.

I ran an slickdeals favorite Ubiquiti system for a couple years. I switch to two Velop nodes a few months ago and don't notice any drop off in performance or ease of use. To me that speaks for itself. In face since I wasn't hard wired to my basement nodes before the velop system does better.

Anyone seen these in store before, or is this most likely online only? I'm currently running Orbi but have been having consistent connection issues and am thinking of giving these a try. From the little I've been reading I may have an easier time dealing with channel congestion issues but not 100% sure.

I was in the same boat and I had the nighthawk as well but it wasn't measuring up to the cord cutting HD streaming until I got the Velop system and now I don't even worry about HD streaming sports games.... this is an awesome deal don't wait to upgrade!!!!

lol.. you're not making it easy on me, because my current router, the nighthawk r7000, is giving me headaches. please don't tell me that's the same nighthawk you had...

Technically, the AC6600 is 2200*3. Since this is a 4-pack, it would be AC8800. Ultimately though, the 5GHz radio can work at up to 867 Mbps if you're trying to understand speeds.
