Hate the proprietary charge dongle. The clip broke off easily and now I cant keep it in place. Battery life is OK but it intermittently disconnected from my S9. Had to disconnect and reconnect again. I personally like my LG tone better

I love this model. Got it at around $70 last year. Works great and I love "charge me" tips.

Build integrity on these is garbage. I guess they may be worth about 60$, buy they will die within a year, I've had to RMA mine multiple times in 1 yes period

Planned obsolescence at its finest . A high priced item that breaks often and they will not honor the warranty if they do not manufacture it anymore . I gave up on my jay bird x3 and bought a Bose soundsport wireless .Way more comfortable ,similar sound, and Bose replacement warranty is better.

Not sure if these are terrible but for me, using X or X1 for years now (2014) and still running strong.

I've owned these for about a year. I bought them for about $90 after my in-law's dog ate my Powerbeats3. These have the worst fit (if you plan on doing any vigorous physical activity) of any wireless headphones I have owned. This is even with the included Comply tips. The Powerbeats are just a lot more secure. Also after about a year they only worked and charged intermittently. Then they died. It appears sweat or moisture got inside them. Never had charging or moisture issues with my Powerbeats....I even washed them accidentally and they worked fine afterwards. As far as charging goes, the Jaybirds were good for about 2-3 workouts per charge, but the Powerbeats lasted twice as long in most cases. Maybe the sound is better, but fit, moisture resistance, and battery life are the main reasons I liked the Powerbeats over these. At $60 it might be worth a look if you have the right shape of ears to get a great fit.

Between this the beats x and bose soundsport wireless all about the same price which is best in terms of battery life and longevity?

Wanted to love these, but I have gone through two pairs and have had nothing but issues. One set cannot hold a charge, the other turns off when I start to sweat. I find myself bringing both to the gym or on a run, and using one as a backup when one inevitably stops working. From there I just hope the second lasts until I'm done. Customer service was good, but they want you to mail in your defunct pair, and THEN they will mail you a new pair.
On the other hand, I really liked the sound and the Jaybird app, in which you can adjust the sound based on what you are listening to or your preferences.

I prefer the Beats X, I had this one as well but the never stay in my ear without the fins and the beats stay in without and have a much better battery life. The Jaybirbs cord is too short so they don't rest around your neck well whereas the Beats have magnets to make a necklace when not in use

The Jaybird X2's are better with micro USB and no big heavy playback buttons. Like $30 new on eBay
