Wüsthof Classic Ikon 2pc Knife Cook's Set $121.00 + Free Shipping

Perigold.com has a big discount on Wüsthof knives. Wüsthof normally won't let retailers discount on their products so I think this is a rare opportunity.

If you are not familiar with Wüsthof, it is a highly regarded German knife maker and "Classic Ikon" is their top of the line series and "Classic" follows it.

Note that, not all option are heavily discounted but following two is the lowest I have ever seen:Shipping is free for order above $49.

I don't know if that ranking is necessarily true. Everything but the Gourmet and Pro use forged instead of stamped blades, where the former is generally considered higher quality than the latter. Other than that, it's mostly the shape and material of the handles that's different.

Seems like a really good deal though.

Anyone have past experience with Perigold?

Owned by Wayfair! I ordered some Classic Ikon a couple days ago and was delivered today. Everything looks good!
