Thoughts? Seems like a pretty good deal if one wants to deal with the rebate.

I'm starting a petition to bring back the old Antec sx1040/1030 "Alienware" cases.

Would of bit if it was the RGB version. Not willing to risk the rebate on this.

1 fan, this is only worth the cheap cost if you have extra fans already.

how long until this fad of no air ventilation from the most important area (the front) is done?

I bought this case last time around, spent $30 on rgb fans and it works great on my 8700k/vega 64 build. Looks great too. I like the muted rgb look behind the tinted plexiglass.

It looks like there are fans on the front of this case?

optimal airflow is blocked by the front cover. They "try" to offset it with the side inflow but it never works.

Not soon enough and since water cooling is becoming easier, more idiot proof, and popular, well...

I also feel the same way about these PSU shrouds. I like seeing my custom sleeved cables and having fans at the bottom.

Just give me an open case, mesh front, grommets on the cable holes with vented top and bottom panels already.

Ah, thanks. That makes a big difference. Although the blocking by the front cover I assume cuts down on the noise somewhat too? Cases with totally open fronts don't seem like they dampen noise at all...

Weirdly picking a case has been the trickiest part of this build. Coming off an HAF-922, I want something smaller and more modern looking for under $100, and there are a lot of good and very similar options from what I've seen so far.
