Where do I begin with this. Okay first off from most utilities or billers or what-have-you you can get a nest or other smart type of thermostat for free when signing up for service. Getting charged for it is kind of a slap in the face. Also, this deal is very regional and those usually don't go over too well for a site that is national and international, especially with setting off as many deal alerts as you did.

EDIT:

Here's an example. A Nest for free, yours to keep after a year of contracted service. https://www.greenmountainenergy.c...hermostat/

If you don't take a hit on the rate you'd normally get, then absolutely. You'd rather pay?

Judging by this almost identical deal at +16 and at $10 more than this, it can go over well:

And another Georgia one:

So I bought one of these on Nov 26, Two weeks later and not a peep from them. All i have is the order confirmation email and that's all, no status of the order or ship date or anything else. I tried calling and emailing them multiple times and no response. I am starting to think this was a scam or something.
