Bought these last year when they were ~$100. Strap on backpack ripped and zipper on carry-on came off. Also, note that carry on is too large for most airline carry on dimensions. If you are tall like me, it is not as noticeable by agents. However, I could see short people having an issue.
Overall, decent buy at $80. Don't expect high quality, though.

Bought these last year.
Book bag Unused, seems decent.
The mid size carryon is too big for the budget airlines (spirit).
The bigger 27" was good for a check-in to Hong Kong.
The zipper placement is a little odd, it's a few inches from the edge of the "box" of the body so your opening is slightly hampered by a lip.

Otherwise they roll quite nicely, survived several trips, and nest inside each other.
I don't recommend anything bigger than 27"/28", it'll be way too easy to go overweight and exceed 60lbs.

Yeah, only Southwest will allow this as a carry on as it's 24 inches tall including wheels. Alaska switched to 22 inches carry ons recently.

What do you think about the durability and construction? Does the handle stick going up and down? Any quality issues?

Quality is good. No issues with handle. Would recommend, even though I usually get a no name brand from Chinatown for around $30. The cheapies usually break or rip somewhere after the 2nd use.
This set has been on 5 trips so far so good. My only peeve is the way the main zipper is designed that creates a lip as opposed to a full open rectangle for the main compartment

Oh and also the expansion zipper doesn't wrap all the way around the case ... only the top half of the panel can expand which seems a little silly.

Bought this last year for $100. Still in use and I say it's pretty good for even 100. Carry on is little big. Putting it wheels outside direction in the overhead bin works sometimes. Otherwise no issue. Handled a lot check-ins too. Highly recommend with $80

These might be carry on sizes?

Neither of these two are carry ons. Only the smaller spinner can be brought to Southwest but not any other airline as it's 24 inches tall.
