Overall I've been happy with it I ordered mine a year ago today on Amazon. My only complaint is that it is supposed to hold its temperature for 30mins after it finishes warming up and it definitely does not do that. It keeps it warm but not at the set temp.

with this design you an very effortlessly pour slowly. normal spout designs are not well suited for precise pours.
this matters if you have something like a V60 or kalita wave pour over where you want to pour slowly and precisely.
if you are just making tea, this feature is not needed.
it's easier to aim where the water goes when you're doing an aeropress or pour over coffee. the spouts that are just indentations at the top tend to dribble the water down the side of the kettle unless you get to the breakover point of them pouring straight out, and then at that point you no longer really have control.
