I have been eyeing this book for a long time. I learned about this book when I found out Ali Wong named her daughter after the author of the book. $3 seems to be a good price point to bite.

I need this book. I've got too much clutter from all the slickdeal purchases.

Quick read, with a lot of useful organization tips. The author is very pointed and frank--it's almost funny. You feel like she's yelling at you and shaming you. Maybe that's why is so effective.

Example tips from what I recall...

Everything has a home - put your stuff where it lives, same place every time
Get rid of it if it doesn't "spark joy" - clothes especially, but even greeting cards or mementos that are past their purpose.
When sorting through things to purge, take them out of their home. Don't sort your clothes in your closet, take them to a different room. And do ALL of them at once, not just half or a few.

I read this a while back and like it. Didn't commit to it fully but had some very useful things in it.

Same here. I couldn't completely buy in on her point of view. It's completely opposite of me in many ways. But it was still a very helpful read for me.

Her folding technique is on Youtube.

Keep things that make you happy; throw out everything else, including "important, one day" and "important, because it was given to me by" stuff.

Don't get too carried away with this way of thinking, though. Disaster preparedness may not make you happy, but it will keep you alive "one day." So keep that stuff.

Astounding isn't it? We as a society, a people, a generation, needs to be told to be clean.
Meanwhile these days, some love to munch on Tide pods, flip bottled water to make it stands, dance like a convulsed cat with Fortnite moves, and best of all, can orgasm on an Instagram/FB dysmophied post. though.
God helps us all.Confused
