I thought that at first too, but if you look at the review for which it applies to, its a different model, C423. Looks like Costco mixed up the reviews.

I saw that too. I looked and it was a review for the 14" version that is not touchscreen. I guess the reviews are mixed in some how... the 14" is at $229 BTW..

Bonus! Wired mouse! That's worth what? $2!?!

Anyways, looks decent. Is it worth paying $300 for a higher spec Chromebook?

I have a wireless mouse from a previous Chromebook so that part didn't bother me much.. I have a 14" Acer and an 11" Samsung and so far so good with the higher spec on this one. The processor seems to make a pretty big difference

The Costco models for the Asus C423NA and C523NA chromebooks have 1080p resolution screens. The versions of these models sold at other retailers like Amazon have 1366x768 resolution screens. If the models at other retailers are slightly cheaper, I'd spend a little extra to get the higher resolution screen.

hows it working so far? fast? buffer issues with video playback on netflix, google, youtube? overheat issues? crappy touchpad? it is about $100 more than one you can buy from Target, for just paying bills online and online shopping. But this maybe more future proof than maybe one from Target?
