4.3 star reviewed fixed blade knife with a nice rotatable belt clip. Good for various mounting locations. It's been $35 for several months and $30 for most of the previous year, hasn't been lower than this since black friday 2017.

It would make an easily accessible utility, work, camping knife. The sheath and size are the real benefit here. With the sheath being rotatable you can belt carry it the horizontal position. Vertical sheaths can be irritating and clunky when trying to sit or moving about much. This modest size knife horizontal on a belt you would barely notice. Knife is small but big enough and designed right to do some real work and would also work as a last ditch self defense weapon. Fixed blade saves time instead of having to pull something from pocket and unfold. Doesn't sound like a big deal but using something for work numerous times a day it can become tiresome and tedious and in emergencies the difference can be the difference between life and death.

It's also great setup for attaching to a backpack, pfd or other gear or harnesses to have a readily accessible and light to carry blade.

I carry a similar knife when kayaking for just the reasons I gave. I also have a folding knife on board the kayak. Yet when panic or adrenaline sets in you get stupid real quick and a simple fumble may cost a life. Simplicity is better in such situations.

Great little knife. I keep it tucked in the molle webbing on the front of my backpack.

Why? Even with shipping, the price is still lower than OP's... and if you add $5 more, you get free shipping...

No it doesn't, with shipping it's still only ~$26 which is $5-$6 cheaper than Amazons price for the skeltetionized version.

I'm not sure of that

The TSA considers a small knife to be one that is less than 2.36 inches long and less than half an inch wide. Knives that do not fit within these measurements, as well as knives with locking blades and molding handles, will continue to be barred.
We don't want anybody to get their new nice little SOG knife seized. Length doesn't sem to be a problem but the 1/2 wide and molding handles clauses are concerning and I think that would almost limit you to blades like those on a Swiss Army knife or similar.
