Segway ES4 Kick Scooter - High Performance Foldable Electric Scooter, 18.6 mph, 28 mile range + $65 Newegg Gift-card $649.99 no tax. Newegg only collects sale tax from new jersey i believe. It also has price match stamp from newegg so if price is cheaper at anyother place newegg will match it.

After that new law that was passed by supreme court or whatever, more states are forced to pay taxes.

Can verify that Illinois must pay taxes for Newegg now, didn't have to before.

Some Newegg customers are getting hit with tax bills for past purchases
https://www.pcgamer.com/some-newe...purchases/

According to WFSB, a local CBS affiliate in Connecticut, Newegg chose the latter route (share old purchase records with certain State). As a result, some customers who purchased electronics and other items from Newegg in 2014 through 2016 are receiving bills in the mail for taxes owed.

This one is better than the Xiaomi. I have the ES1 and it's great. The main advantage over the Xiaomi is the solid tires. Don't have to worry about flats and expensive tire replacement.

I have had the ES1 since July and use it every weekday as a last mile mode of transportation to/from work. My biggest complaints about the ES1 have been addressed in the ES4. Single smaller battery limited range and speed on ES1- this one has 2 batteries. No back light- back light and brake light. No rear shock absorption- this has it.

With tax, I paid $430 for my ES1 in July. If my ES1 wasn't still going strong after 200 miles, I would certainly buy this model.

Warranty seems a bit weak no? Body is covered for a year but everything else falls into 180 day and 90 day categories. 180 day for battery

This is not a great deal IMHO. I got the m365 from aliexpress for 265 and another one for a friend for 330.
Better tires here makes a huge difference. I got my es2 from eBay. The scooter shipped from NY and I paid no tax. Total with square trade guarantee came out to 420. I used a 15% coupon that comes every now and then. At thag time new egg had this for 499 with a $50 GC. They were charging me tax in Chicago so decided to buy from eBay. Loving this scooter. Riding it everyday in Chicago.

Additional battery costs less than 200 from online retailers. I got mine from aliexpress for 170
