Not anywhere near as great as that $250 1070 Ti a while back, but similar to the backordered ones at B&H, and in-stock and ready to go, no rebates, no code.

Also includes an extra game, CoD Black Ops 4, for those of you who like that kind of game, on top of Monster Hunter and Fortnite.

Also, first timer, let's see how much I mangled this post! Smilie

It's still overpriced and most people would agree, but comparable to BF/CM "deals". I would wait until the 2060 is released, the 1070 price will plummet.

Im still waiting for a 1070 ti from Gigabyte (3 fan) or MSI (gaming), to sale around $350 total (tax included). I found one on Craigslist for $250 that was supposed to be brand new, but the seller looked shady and I flaked at the end.

You missed the Ebay BF special. 1070 TI's were going for $310/$320 before tax. I almost pulled the trigger on that deal, but glad I didnt. I ended up getting the EVGA 1070 SC for $280 after MIR, free shipping and no taxes from B and H. 1070 TI would have been overkill anyway. I'm still rocking my Sandybridge 2500k @4.8ghz and gaming at 1080p on a TV.

Actually the opposite is happening. See my explanation below.

So to avoid a super long drawn out explanation to this, I'll just explain it with bullet points.

*Nvidia releases RTX - nobody buys it over no real benchmarks, then Nvidia says pre-order is sold out (except they weren't... they were trying to control market demand with false info). The RTX cards arrive at reviewers with Beta drivers and poor benchmarks. Toms Hardware releases "Just Buy It" article.

Gamers Nexus sheds light on actual issue, then Linus and others follow. This happens around the same time Intel's fake benchmarks were released as well.

-Nvidia gets huge return on Pascal cards and crypto drops off... flooding the market. Approximate 12 weeks of inventory back stock for Pascal 3 weeks ago with continued contractual agreements to produce additional Pascal and RTX cards continues to overflow Nvidia inventory.

Nvidia RTX Cards Burning Up/Bricking - reports come in regarding instability with RTX cards to GN and others. OEM Pascal Board to RTX chipset issues acknowledged and unknown what other cards were affected as random instability with cards are reported.

-Present Day: Stores are completely flooded with RTX cards that aren't selling for fear of unstable cards, and the price hike that hasn't reduced regardless of performance to price ratio gap.

Pascal cards sold out everywhere... but Nvidia is still sitting on a huge back stock of Pascal... they are controlling inventory to keep margin high knowing the RTX cards are not selling.

4th Quarter Results will be a hard hit, but Nvidia will mitigate the loss somewhat by controlling the market by not flooding it with Pascal cards.

If you buy it all up at these prices they will keep selling the back stock at these prices.

These are not good prices. Wait it out people.
