Osprey Porter 46 Backpack for $98 + Free shipping

+6 Deal Score

eBags.com [ebags.com] has this backpack for $98 using code SAVE. Shipping is free. Code works for other Osprey items, but this one is highly rated and I've been eyeing it for carry-on travel (please check airline's policies).

Can combine with amex $20 off $100 if you have it making it a sweet deal if your total is over $100 (includes taxes).

I have this bag but found it to be too big and uncomfortable when fully packed. Their Farpoint 40 is harder to pack because of the soft sidewalls, but the harness system helps make the bag feel light on your back. This one just feels like a heavy bag on your back and it juts out on your back which makes it harder to maneuver around.

Highly recommend you trying "slim" size packing cubes. They fit perfect, about 4 or so in the compartment. It makes packing fast, easy and efficient.

Thanks! I have a few of the slim ones and also use the Eagle Creek compression packing cubes for clothes. It was packed full for a week of international travel and felt too heavy and bulky to take with me, I ended up using a roller. It weighed 15lbs, so the max weight for international travel. I'm not an ultralight traveler, but I do travel with carry-on only bags and this one just didn't work for me.
