Would an IPS like this be decent for gaming (e.g Wolfenstein, DDO, LOTRo, Tomb Raider), or should I stick with VA/TN panels?

Does anyone have experience on this websites return policy? Never heard of this website before so I am a little hesitant.

It depends on your everyday activity. If your primary concern is gaming and if it benefits from TN, then it would be better. Everything else, I think ips is more beneficial.

This wonder has been driving me insane.

How much of an upgrade would 75hz be for gaming compared to 60hz? There are no 144hz 1080p IPS monitors so the next best thing we have is an IPS at 75hz. Anyone?

There's a 1/4" gap in between the frame and the actual viewable display all around it. Like having a rim of dead pixels.

60 to 75 isn't much of an upgrade, to me its not even noticable but indeed nice to have. 60 to 100+ worth it and a huge difference. I have no say on how noticable freesync is on this if you have an amd card though since I use gsync.

Bought this from buydig last year around this time, for about the same price. was an upgrade from a basic 60hz dell screen. For the price, its a great screen. Dont play many games that require high refresh rates, cant comment on the difference from 60 to 75hz. Some ips glow/backlight bleed that is common with most ips screens. Overall, good bang for your buck.
