Wow this keeps dropping. Was $170 at black Friday, $200 beginning of the year. This unfortunately has very limited FOV and so I dont think itd would be good for the VR porn 😅

That's sad. Let's hope nobody's buying it for that.

The resolution is 720p per eye which is half of what the htc vive is [redd.it]. That means this will have a HORRIBLE screen door effect and you will easily be able to see the pixels. The battery life according to amazon is at best 4 hours.

can't link images so attached it.

Do some homework before spouting off incorrect assumptions trying to sound like an expert. If you ever used these or even just read a review on them, you'd understand that these don't have pixels and by nature don't have any screen door effect. They use mirrors like a DLP.

I bought one of these when it was around $200 I think and I"m pretty pleased with it for travel. The experience is like watching a 720p display from 8-12 feet away, and the battery life is probably about 3-4 hours. I use this primarily to play and watch content on xbox ... I braided the HDMI and USB cables together to connect both cables to the xbox extending the battery life indefinitely. The picture isn't going to rival my TCL P607, but it's sharp enough for me to game on effectively, and the sound is great in an extremely convenient external personal display.

Highly recommended at this price.

I tried one at an airport pop up shop. It's not VR. Rather it's a personal TV. The screen is rather sharp and you can take off your glasses because it has knobs and dials to adjust your vision.

How would you compare it to the playstation vr headset, color quality, brightness? Thanks.

So this is just a simulated 720P screen, then? It mentions 3D, does that mean it does 3D movies and games? If so, how pronounced is the 3D effect?

I don't remember much but I'm sure it was much better to watch movies on it. I am not a fan of PS4 VR headset. The 3D effect was quite pronounced on this screen.

Wow, if thats the case I might get one to try out, thank you Justin. I bought the playstation vr once and did not like its color and contrast quality much on movies. Colors were more muted, and contrast was lacking, its like watching a low lumen projector if that makes any sense.
