($20/4people)/4 Plays Total = $1.25 per person for an evening of entertainment. Where else are you going to find that value? I maintain you'll play it more than 4 times total, but the point here is that even if you don't play it forever you simply can't get entertainment this cheap.

I agree with the fact that you WILL outgrow the game but in the meantime this is a great deal.

Man, that's a great perspective to think about it...I've played this game a couple of times with family, never seen my cousin so emotionally distraught that her family could lie to her so easily!

Excellent game. Best played with at least 4 players. My 11-year-old and 13-year-old love this game, and we love playing it with them.

It is indeed a good game. It does get old, though. My friends and I used to play this a lot and it now sits in our "let's never play this again" pile.

That's exactly how my brother convinced me to start buying designer board games. Even if some cost $30 or more, they are much cheaper than a date night to the movies, and better entertainment value than many DVDs. (And some even increase in value, even used copies!)

I got this at Target for 22.99 +25% off = 17.24 last year. I can't remember if the promo required you to buy multiple games or not though.

This whole game is based on your ability to lie, decieve and bribe your way to victory. It can be fun for some, but can be difficult without a good poker face.

It is possible to play it straight and win, but yes....

My sentiments exactly! I have used that explanation for my wife and my complete collection of Dominion and all of the expansions. My wife and I play table top games at least 2 nights every week. Dominion, 7 Wonders Duel, and Rivals for Catan are our favorites.

If you haven't already, you guys should try Concordia. Plays great with two, not hard to learn at all, lots of fun.
