Marmot Softshell Jacket at Costco for $59.97.

I just found this Jacket today and it looks like it was specially made for Costco.

The name is Meadow Jacket, which doesn't exist anywhere but there.

It looks almost identical to a Shield Jacket [marmot.com] but instead of Polartec, it has Gore-Tex like the Rom Jacket [marmot.com].

Look wise, the only difference from the Shield Jacket is that it has a more breathable area on the side with a slight difference in color. But the composition seems to be exactly the same as the Rom.

Here is a picture of the display at costco.97 [costco97.com]

There weren't that many left but I found my size and color. Hope more Costcos have it at this price besides the one in Culver City.

Ditto. It's the reason I don't buy any clothing items at Costco.

They would have carried size Small, initially. Small, Med, Large, and XL are their usual sizes available in warehouses, with XXL sometimes also available. Online may have additional extended sizes in some items.

This product is on clearance, and the shelf tag shows remaining sizes still on hand at that store. Costco adds these notes to the shelf tags when certain sizes have sold out so shoppers don't have to search the inventory for a size that is no longer available.

Fyi, this isn't "real" Gore-Tex

"While WINDSTOPPER® is windproof, highly breathable and water resistant, it is not waterproof. GORE-TEX®, like WINDSTOPPER®, is a laminate, but the difference is the GORE-TEX® membrane has much smaller pores, with over nine billion pores per square inch. The smaller pores completely prevent moisture from penetrating from the outside, making GORE-TEX® fully waterproof and windproof, but less breathable than WINDSTOPPER®." Saw this in Irvine, California Costco yesterday. Several colors and lots of sizes. But sadly no Small.

Lol, you know one of the main target patrons of Costco is Asian, right? In Wisconsin my local Costco warehouses won't even bother to get small at all due to the small percentage of Asians present here.

Us Americans are fat, and Costco has a higher profit margin when they don't have to house an inventory of small sizes. I can almost never find pants there since they rarely carry sub-32" in store or online. There are more XXL people than small people in the country, which is sad, but I don't blame Costco for it - they're just maximizing profit.

This is a very lightweight jacket, like a running jacket. Probably retailed for $90 - $120... Def not $200. Lots in Irvine Costco.

Lightweight running jackets can easily reach $200 or more, and considering it is Marmot, I have no doubt of that as the msrp.
