I was choosing between Sena and Cardo as well. Decided to go with Cardo after this videos:

Thumbs up for a motorcycle deal. If we weren't already invested in gear from Sena, I'd probably pick a pair of these up.

This is a pretty cool test/video but for those of us with full face helmets, this comparison is irrelevant. I'm personally a Cardo guy (been using the same unit since 2012) so this isn't a pro-Sena argument. It's just that when you install these units in full face helmets, the mic is tucked inside and wind noise is a non-factor.

Maybe for crusier/skull bucket riders this is important but otherwise i don't see how this comparison is relevant to the real world...

Absolutely awesome deal (on eBay these are about double that price). I love mine! Reliable, waterproof, great sound quality.

Have you seen the second video? 30s got baked in 15 minutes underwater - not something I like to happen on my face.

Are you one of those who rides only in sunny weather from garage to cafe? There is such thing as a "rain" out there.

I actually commute daily on my bike. I just happen to live in California where we see rain maybe 4 weeks a year.

There is no need for a communicator to stand against prolonged submersion. My Sena is at least 7 years old, ridden in all kinds of weather, and it still holds enough charge to last a whole day of riding.
Sometimes I wish it would give me a reason to upgrade... This is a very good price for a Cardo.

This was my point. I get that it rains but i'd love to see the use case for riding LITERALLY UNDERWATER for 15 minutes.... LMAO
