35K to China is awesome. ATL direct so its even better for me.

I hope so too and that they put the travel dates out farther, I imagine it's a little hard for most people to plan an Asia trip 3 months out...

For SEA to NRT - Why slick?

Converting (65000) points to ($650) dollars (at 1c a point) and its the similar price to paying cash ($687). Plus all the fun taxes!

Maybe a better question is, how many points is it normally?

Agree the deals to Tokyo are not slick at all. The China ones are super slick.

How much are taxes?? Seems at least a few hundred. Times when "taxes and fees" on miles redemption were $5.60 one way are long gone. That's what kills many of these "deals"

Delta won't charge YQ when redeeming for their own flight.
