Cost. Xpenology will always beat out what Synology offers, but to get something as low power as this will cost you more $.

I don't recommend getting any 2 bay NAS. Seems like a waste of money to me unless you specifically need it for a good reason and you are familiar with NAS in general. Maybe if it was 50 dollars or less I would bite.

If you are just getting started, I'd get 4 bay minimum.

Where are you finding these other posts? Not trying to call you a liar, just wanna know where else I should be looking so I don't miss deals. I only found this thread because of a deal notification, but I don't see it anywhere on the front page.

Any reason you'd get 4 over 2? I'm thinking of getting this.

Edit: Great, deal ended Frown

Why 4 bay? You can do raid with 2 drives as well.

It shows 135.99 in the results if I search for it, but 179.99 once I click on that link or the link OP provided (same link). Tried from mobile and desktop. Am I missing something or is this one dead?

Elevator pitch: They run as storage independent from a personal computer. So you (or other users) can access it locally or remotely on any device. You can set up RAID to protect against drive failure. They're basically little personal servers.
