I have this water bottle and there is no straw.

Bottom of the bottle says only for Cold Water.

Compared to Hydro flask, it doesn't have that straw part. It has a push to open seal to dispense water. For me, it's easier to clean and more hygenic.

The "stainless steel" part of the bottle is kinda of easy to scratch. Les than 3 weeks and there's lots of scratches.

My question as well... Is it legit for both hot and cold water?

not for hot....when you push the button on the front it opens the valve and you can drink...if it's pressurized from hot liquid or altitude you'll get a little spray in the face.
Works awesome for cold drinks..love mine...keeps ice all day long for me.

I bought this same water bottle it was on sale a month ago for $8, only the pink color though.
One of the best water bottles I've had in a while, stays really cold and the auto seal works great. You press one button and the cap opens so you can drink which means dirt/stuff can't fall in.
