i bought this on Amazon three years ago for $18 and it is not super useful. the knife is single beveled and in my experience was not that great even as a box cutter or a letter opener. the scissors were useful only for the small odd job but the size generally limited its usefulness. the flathead screwdriver is a on the smaller side. i gave this away to my sister and bought this swiss knife instead which served my purposes much better, with two blades, a can opener, a bottle opener, and two screwdrivers and was more handy than this multitool ever was

I got this with a Wave. Been with my keychain for years and user it all the time. Love this thing

Be careful though, I've almost lost it a few times at metal detectors. Last time I had to hide it outside an event center and find it after the event.

The best tool is the one you have with you. This is a decent Keychain tool. Leatherman scissors are great for most scissor tasks. The knife will do in a pinch and is easy to sharpen. The tweezers are good for slivers. With the caribiner you can quickly free it from your Keychain if you need to loan it. My wife has this on her keys and I have a micra. Along with a charge in my pocket. Prefect compliment of tools.

Can't wait 4 Dick's to finally close their doors! I'm surprised they still sell sharp objects...

I agree with others, not very useful. I've opened a few Amazon boxes using the knife. Scissors are small and the screwdriver might get used to open small battery compartments. Go get something else

Would this be recommended over a classic SD Swiss army knife? Seem to have the same tools but more compact?

Be careful with these, they fall off very easily from a keychain. I've gone through three of these as they just fall off my keychain when I'm not paying attention. When I had them I love them as a nice little pair of scissors but I've stopped buying them since it was $20+ a pop each time I lost one.

I've had one in my pocket for 3+ years and never had fallen off once.

The older Micra is better designed, imo. Folds small and sleek whereas this one is bulkier.

In any case, thank the TSA!
Tons of travelers going through security thinking yes, I'll carry everything that can kill on board, but nope - offered a choice to dump the knives or don't fly.
Thus, tons of good knives on eBay all the time starting at about 1/2 this price - really good way to get a Leatherman cheap any day!

Got this about 8 years ago and love it. Cost about double back then. Cool little multi purpose tool to have when you need it.
