First time post. I just saw that Best Buy has the Sony 1000xm2's back for $199.99 in store only YMMV. No stock near me in NJ but maybe other people will have better luck.

Update - These headphones have been completely removed from Best Buy's website. You would probably have to luck out and find and buy them in store at this point.

I think $199.99 is the normal price for this now since the xm3s took over the $349 price point.

While I agree $200 should definitely be the standard price now, for some inexplicable reason, Amazon is still selling the gold ones for $350. And looks like these were only $200 during Black Friday weekend.

Need a 99 dollar pair for gym. My last ones broke on each side by actual headset after 2.5 years....wonder how these would hold up?

Sony makes shoddily built headphones. The sound quality is great however the arms connecting the heasband to the earcup break very easily on MANY of their models including this one.I have a pair that i always keep in a soft shell case which should be rigid enough and if they aren't on my head then they are in the case...One day I took them out and lo and behold, the arm was snapped... Good sound quality on these but build is poor for the price. I'd recommend grabbing a pair of Quier Comforts at this price as the sound quality is much bettee and the build is as well. No knock on these headphones, the sound is fantastic, just trying to save someone the unbridled rage that I had to endure!

I figured this was the regular price of these, as I happened to be comparison shopping headphones at lunch today, and they were available for this price for shipping at that time. Is this their deal of the day, and just ran out online? There is stock available all around me. I was considering buying them for myself in my wife's behalf as my Christmas gift. 😀

Personally I prefer earbuds to over ear headphones in the gym. I've found the sound on the Powerbeats 3 to be quite good relative to other in ear Bluetooth headphones, and you should be able to get them at $99 or lower. Might be worth a look.

Edit: They're $99 at Best Buy now https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/t/12336997

Bought them Black Friday for this price. A M A Z I N G. The sound fidelity is great and customizable via the app, the active noise reduction is a life saver in my noisy office. I've used them about 4 hours a day for over a week and still have plenty of battery left. I compared them with the Bose, for my taste, the Sony X2's vB (these) beat the Bose QC35 II. I tried the X3's as well, $350, those headphones are on a class all their own. Outright ridiculous in every category, destroys QC35 II and beats the X2 in better noise suppression (yes, it's possible) less weight, nicer materials, bigger ear cups (more comfortable for extended wear and people with big ears). I hear Bose is rushing to create the QC35's successor for Spring 2019. Last note, do you have big ears? You know you do if you do...don't buy X2's, you'll hate them.

The sound is much better than qc. The noise cancelling isn't. Close though.

I have not seen them for $199.99 regularly and I have been following this model for about 4 months. The BF deal at Best Buy was only for Elite members so majority of us couldn't get it. I believe they also had a deal for military. There was a deal at Rakuten but it went really fast.

I have these, been through about 2 years, works just fine with all the sweat sound is decent, i suggest getting some earbuds from comply. Dont abuse the ear hooks by bending them back and forth so much, they'll end up like what happens to a paper clip

Also 89.99 at amazon!
