Yes, you can get similar bits from other makers cheaper, but I've been happy with the quality of the Klein tools.

USA =/= quality and conversely china=/=low quality . If an item is low quality blame the company that requested that quality. People out here acting like China is the boogeyman

I was going to buy the 11 in one from Ace hardware on Black Friday but the packaging now says made in Taiwan imported from Klein of Mexico. No

Chinese tools are 99% junk made from junk recycled metals. Sure this might be an exception but I'm not risking my money to find out.

It's impressive that you tested ALL Chinese tool exports and found that 99% were "junk"

Made in USA with import materials =/= quality and most of the stuffs made in China are ordinary or low quality.

Why? The torx and hex bits all work like normal bits as well.

No one cares about your money. People care about the quality of the item, which you should bet this is decent based on the company and their reputation.

Also someone mentioned it was made in Taiwan and not China. I don't hold grudges against countries of manufacture (I trust reviews more) but when there is no information (reviews, reputation) in general Taiwan products are relatively high quality. Ask any Chinese citizen, I would bet they say Taiwan and Japan are quality products.

I got something similar at the dollar tree for $1.00.... LAUGH
Klein tools are geared towards people that use the tools everyday like tradesmen. They would last a homeowner forever. A $1.00 multi-screwdriver wouldn't last a tradesmen a day depending on the work because of the cheap metals used, so you can't compare the two.
