How is lifetime warranty handled? I have 2 of these junk lights that don't work
It means you can walk into any home depot with a broken or non functioning flashlight and walk out with a brand new item. My dad had one of those pen lights that husky makes and my toddler son destroyed it, I walked in and took it to customer service and they told me to just go get a new on and they scanned it out to me for free.

These are worth the money, Probably in the top of the list in flashlights for me.
I have seen them fall off second stories, fall in the pool, dropped in the mud, and they work perfectly fine.

For the money, they are well worth it. And they use the easily findable AA batteries.

The HD lights are cool, but will eat through batteries fast. I highly recommend checking out the Ozark Trail 1000 lumen work light at Walmart instead.

1. It's rechargeable (ignore the description, it's inaccurate as it was for the old version)
2. It's twice as bright, and has a low setting too.
3. It has a USB power port so can pull double duty as a power bank (4400mah capacity)

It does cost a bit more at ~$22, but you'll save the difference in batteries pretty quickly.

I bought this one from Lowes on black friday, though the price is still the same. Can someone tell me if lowes one is a good price or time to return?

Do they need a receipt or some type of proof of purchase?

Thanks!

wish instead of Husky, Ryobi did more with lights. Could be using their TEK4 batteries... or any other TTI brand batteries.

the question with these lights is how long they can hold battery if not used. I have couple of Defiant LEDs and had been amazed by the fact the battery will never die. for sure I don't use them very often just keep as backup for power failure, but they have been good for couple of years without any battery change. I have also some other brands and after only couple of weeks even if no usage at all, the battery is dead. So I woud only buy Defiant led flashlight.

From the front page, it says:
Lifetime Warranty with no questions, no receipt required.

I wonder if we can just bring it back for replacement 10 years from now, assumingly HD will be still in business.

When things dont work they are supposed to, at the right place and right time, it doesnt matter if it has a lifetime warranty or not, shit hits the fan and you end up paying the price. Husky brand tools have a legendary reputation of failing and or falling apart. They are garbage. Save your money, more importantly save your time.
I know this thread is on flashlights, but I've had good luck with Husky hand tools and sockets. Works as well as my Craftsman and Proto.
