I bought this model about two months ago to replace a flakey Netgear Nighthawk high end router and couldn't be happier! This thing rocks! I haven't had to reboot it once and I use to have to reboot the nighthawk every few days. I use it with a dozen wifi security cameras and another dozen other wifi devices (thermostats Xboxes laptops smartphones tablets) and works perfect with each and every one of them!

I've had one of these for a couple years. It's solid. My kids friends say we have the best WiFi they've ever used.

I just returned this today. Bought it at Conn's for $125. Was not impressed at all with the range. Looks cool though. Lol.

This is also available on Amazon for $179.99. It says it's on backorder through December 10th. This looks really tempting but then I would also need to buy a cable modem to replace my Netgear c7000 (outlet space). It's a combo modem router and I also have the Netgear x6000 mesh extender which in theory, those 2 devices should be great but they just don't seem to be doing the trick. I'm going to try factory resetting them.

I got this to replace my r7000, but it didn't play nice with my brother printers. Otherwise it was ok. Currently using an r7800, which I'm much happier with

Last time i bought one, it only limited to 40 and I called tech support and they confirmed it. Is 48 highest? or you can add more? I use mac id filters for wifi for more security.

Huh don't know and I stand corrected when I login mobile app it says 46 8 those are hardwired with a Ethernet switch though. I have probably 60 things on smart things. All with no problem
