FREE INK for life = 15 pages per month

Since people seem confused as all get out, here's the ink thing explained:

1) YES, the printer qualifies for the Instant Ink program.
2) YES, it is for the life of the program and/or printer (not YOUR life), but anyone with a brain would know that without having to read corporate fine print.
3) NO, they do not ship ink every month. They only ship ink when levels are low. Which HP knows because your internet-connected printer sends that information back on a daily basis when it checks in with their servers.
4) FREE mean FREE. If your sentence starts with "do I have to pay for...", just stop. No, you don't. Not as long as you're within the limits of the program.

After 15 pages this pretty much becomes like a library at 10 cents a page.. Good if you print photos though

I had the same question. Googled hp instant ink. Apparently, with HP's instant ink program, which this printer qualifies for, you can print 15 pages a month for free:
Print free for life: The free printing plan allows you to print 15 pages per month at no cost (paper not included) for the life of your printer. Additional pages are excluded and will be charged to customer payment method at the end of the month at a rate of $1 per each additional set of 10 pages (Customer to be charged $1 for each set even if customer doesn't use entire set). HP reserves the right to modify or cancel the free printing plan anytime on 60 days' notice. This offer cannot be redeemed for cash except as required by law. Additional information available in HP Instant Ink Terms at HP Instant Ink Terms of Service. Free printing plan not available on all printers.

No, after 15 pages they charge .10 cents per page after that. If you dont use all 15, the remaining pages roll over to the next month. I bought a printer a year ago and signed up thinking It was too good to be true, but it's been really amazing! Im not sure how they are able to do this without losing money...

From site:

"Your unused pages are rolled over for you, up to two times your monthly plan amount. You can print more than your monthly page amount and still save.3 Additional sets of pages are automatically available and let you print beyond your monthly limit for pennies per page. You can also easily change your monthly plan whenever you want. You can choose to make a plan upgrade effective immediately and retroactively apply to the current billing cycle, or have the upgrade take effect the first day of the next billing cycle. Plan downgrade changes and cancellation are effective the first day of the next billing cycle. For more details, see the HP Instant Ink Terms of Service. "

Maybe on old Plan, I joined in February 2018 and my unused pages don't roll over.

Rollover Pages. If, during any Month Period, You do not print all of Your Free Pages, then the unused Free Pages for that Month Period will not rollover and will not be available for use in subsequent Month Periods.

I've had this for a year and cannot complain for the casual person printing a few things here and there. It is free up to 15 pages per month and does not roll over
